Involved with German Shepherds since his early childhood, Abhai Kaul is well versed with our breed. He was introduced to this wonderful world at the young age of 5 years when he visited his first dog show and started competing soon after, which he still actively does till this date, and with much success in the show ring. Married recently, he lives and shares his passion of the German Shepherd breed with his wife Yvonne Kaul in California.

He finished his education as a Graphic Designer in the greater Los Angeles area, and is an adept photographer and a dextrous illustrator.

He also runs an online magazine called www.gsdinsider.net which presents thoughts and impressions on GSD conformation shows from around the world, supplemented with some excellent photography work.

He has been the official photographer for the Indian Sieger Show and the official photographer for the GSDCI (German Shepherd Dog Club of India) from 2006 - 2007 and covered several dogs shows across the United States including but not limiting to the NASS 2007, The Canadian Sieger Show 2009 and several other regional and club shows.

Brian Barbour graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Photography. He has several years of experience in Photojournalism including his latest tour of duty in Iraq as part of the National Guard. He was Army Photographer at Joint Base Balad. Brian has received several award for  including the first place spot for Sport News from the Arizona Press Club.  He resides in Phoenix with his German Shepherd Dog, Eli. His Shepherd was trained by and cared for by the Training Director and Helpers from the Southwest Diamondback Schaferhunde Club,  in Tucson, Arizona.

BRIAN BARBOUR (Photo Journalist)

Introduced to the world of schutzhund and dog sport by her father, Yvonne titled her first female to Sch H3 at the age of 13! She has worked and titled numerous German Shepherds to the highest level of Schutzhund ever since. Yvonne also has great experience and expertise in the show ring as well, handling many great dogs to high “V” and “VA” positions. She has owned, bred and worked both show lines and working lines and has spoken at various well received seminars on working and show dogs. One of Yvonne’s super females has produced the American Siegerin VA1. Of essence, German Shepherds has been a life long commitment for her as a connoisseur of the breed.

Yvonne has a masters degree in Advanced Pastry Arts & a Bachelors in Business. She has in the past worked as a proficient translator in the German Corporate World for several years.
